more This paper has objective to explore macroeconomic Variables to affect initial return (underpricing) for period 2000 to 2018.Underpricing is calculated by closing price on the first day of trading in stock market compared to price of Initial Public Offering (IPO), sometimes its called Initial Return.The results of the Granger causality test showed that there exists no complementary relationship between trade openness and economic growth in the short-run in Ghana.

The results of the study revealed that there is a long run relation between unemployment rate and the inflation rate for Poland, for the aforementioned period.
